Terms of Service

The service

Danzeira is a platform for discovering dance events, purchasing tickets, and managing event attendance. We provide the technology; event organizers are responsible for the events they publish.

Accounts

You may purchase tickets with or without a Danzeira account. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Guest orders can be accessed with your order reference and checkout email, or via the link in your confirmation email. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Organizers

To publish paid events, organizers must be approved by Danzeira and complete Stripe Connect onboarding. Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy of event details (date, time, venue, pricing), fulfilling the event, and handling refund requests according to their stated policy. Organizers may invite managers or volunteers to help run an event; those delegates act on the organizer's behalf and may access attendee and operational data according to their assigned role.

Tickets and orders

• Unpaid orders expire after 10 minutes and reserved tickets are released.
• Ticket prices may vary by pricing tier or scheduled sales window. The price and availability shown at checkout apply to your order.
• Organizers may offer promo codes. Discounts apply to eligible tickets as shown at checkout.
• Online card orders include a booking fee of 5% of the ticket subtotal after any promo discount, with a minimum of 0.50 in the event's currency. The fee is shown at checkout before payment.
• Cash, card, and free tickets issued directly by organizers are not subject to the online booking fee.
• If a ticket type is sold out, you may join a waitlist. Waitlist placement does not guarantee a ticket; if a spot opens, we may offer it automatically in waitlist order.
• Refund policies are set by the event organizer. Danzeira does not guarantee refunds for cancelled or changed events unless required by applicable law. Booking fees are not refunded when tickets are refunded.
• Tickets are personal and non-transferable except through Danzeira's official transfer feature.

Payments and payouts

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Ticket revenue (minus the booking fee) is paid to organizers via Stripe Connect. Danzeira is not a bank and does not hold funds on behalf of users beyond the payment processing flow.

Prohibited use

You may not use Danzeira to:

• Publish false, misleading, or fraudulent events.
• Circumvent ticketing limits, role balancing, or transfer restrictions.
• Resell tickets outside of Danzeira's transfer feature where prohibited by the organizer.
• Harass other users, abuse staff, or interfere with the platform's operation.
• Circumvent organizer or platform bans, or attempt to regain access after a ban.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Danzeira is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Danzeira is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, attendance at events, or actions of event organizers.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of Danzeira after changes means you accept the updated terms.
